For years i have had thoughts about doing a Singer-songwriter project of my own. I have written a lot of songs in the darker, more melancholic part of the genre, and now some of them will end up here.

For the last 20 years i have been singer, guitarist, writer etc. in the metalband, "End my sorrow" but though i love the melodic-metal genre, i also have a soft spot for stuff like this. give it a spin, and tell me what you think.

I reflect on the war i lost today,
ill make sure to learn from past mistakes.
regain my strength to engage again
onward to conquer what still remains

a sad song i buried deep within,
i nearly lost the tunes in the end.
words unsung, tunes unplayed,
forged in silence to be my aid

walking alone trough the empty streets,
every step fits my heartbeat.
i can see my breath in the night so cold
in thoughts coping with what i was told

searching for answers deep within.
to distant to feel the chilling wind on my skin
i let the night consume me in its grasp so tight
suddenly awake to se a new days early light

in the shadows of the darkness i pursue,
i call upon the strength i found in you.
Even now in the bleakest night,
your mark on me will be my guiding light.
